The Friendship Force of Greater Boston would like to invite you to join them on their Friendship Force Journey to Tanzania. There are optional pre and post journey tours, but the following are the highlights of the week with members from the Friendship Force of Iringa, Tanzania:
Welcome party with an introduction to Tanzanian culture
Visit the Isimila Stone Age Site, visit the nearby town and have lunch there
Visit a local school and learn about Hehe Culture; enjoy a traditional lunch and time with the students and teachers
Enjoy a free day with your host family, treat your host family to dinner either at a restaurant or a typical home cooked meal from your area
Visit the Mkwawa Museum
Explore the Kiponzelo Caves
