From the Pacific coast of Lima to the world’s largest salt flat, from the lush valleys of the Bolivian Yungas to the high-altitude streets of La Paz, this Journey is a feast for nature and culture lovers. After ten days of exploring, you’ll be welcomed into the homes of FF Tarapoto members in the Peruvian Amazon foothills for a week of friendship and discovery. 🌿
📍 Itinerary Highlights:
- Explore Lima’s Miraflores, Huaca Pucllana and historic center, and discover local ingredients on a guided culinary experience in Surquillo 🍽️
- Walk across the endless white Salar de Uyuni 🧂, photograph the cactus-covered Isla Incahuasi 🌵 and learn how salt is harvested in Colchani
- Visit the high-altitude wetlands near Tunupa Volcano and watch for flamingos 🦩
- Spend a day in the Yungas around Chulumani, hiking through coffee and citrus country and meeting Aymara and Afro-Bolivian communities ☕
- Discover La Paz: Plaza Murillo, the Witches’ Market, Calle Jaén and a ride on the Teleférico 🚠 with views over the city and mountains
- One week of home hosting with FF Tarapoto: orchid gardens and hummingbirds in Moyobamba 🌺, the artisans and chocolate of Lamas 🍫, a day at Laguna Sauce, and a farewell celebration with a pisco sour workshop 🍹, live music and dancing

This Journey is open to FF club members worldwide 🌍. Participants should be comfortable with high altitude (Uyuni and La Paz sit above 3,500 meters), early mornings, and long travel days, including winding mountain roads and several domestic flights.
