The Friendship Force of Wisconsin-Madison invites you to join them on a Friendship Force journey to Seferihisar, Turkey! โต Set along the sparkling Aegean Sea, this week-long adventure blends ancient history, seaside charm, and rich Turkish culture and traditions.
๐ Itinerary Highlights:
- Wander the bustling Kemeraltฤฑ Bazaar in Izmir ๐๏ธ, soaking up the sights, sounds, and flavors of this historic market on the Aegean Sea
- Tour the double-walled Sฤฑฤacฤฑk Castle ๐ฐ โ an Ottoman fortress built with stones from the ancient city of Teos and still home to Seferihisar residents today
- Spend a day in legendary Ephesus โช, following Paul's route and visiting the House of the Virgin Mary
- Travel to the seaside town of Urla ๐ซ to visit an olive oil factory, stroll its famed Art Street ๐จ, and learn the history, culture, and traditions of Turkish olive oil production at a unique museum
