About the host: We operate and live on a very small (for Texas standards) working ranch. We have barbado sheep, rescue horses, cows, goats, and dogs. Also, we manage a very small but successful tiny home community on an adjacent property. I swim daily and work part time for a private home for autistic young men. My spouse is a workaholic and overall nice guy who loves to play games of any kind in his down time. Our guests will stay in a separate private cottage on the property.

Details:   

• private cottage in the countryside
• queen bed and a comfy single sofa bed in a separate room plus a comfy full-size sofabed in the living room
  
• guests will have their own bathroom
• no stairs
• no pets in the guest house
• no smoking permitted inside; it's ok to smoke on the patio outside
  

Activities: 

Livestock interactions, tour of tiny home community on adjoining property managed by me, coordinated tours of the area (depending on your day hosting requests and scheduling), airport pickup and return of course :)

We are 30 minutes from downtown Austin, San Marcos, and Bastrop and have all the advantages of easy roads to get to any of the local destinations including Lockhart (BBQ capital of Texas which is only 15 minutes away).

The host will accompany the ambassador(s) for some of the time. The host will offer transportation.
