Calling all blues fans! You are invited to join us as we explore the history of the blues byfollowing the “Blues Trail” on a road trip through Memphis and the Mid-South area. Stops will be made at key sites including :
Gateway to the Blues museum (Tunica, Mississippi)
Visit “crossroads” where bluesman Robert Johnson purportedly sold his soul to the devil
Overnight at the historic Clark House (Clarksdale, MS)
The Hopson Plantation
Delta Blues Museum
B.B. King museum (Indianola, Mississippi)
Highway 61 Blues Museum (Leland, Mississippi)
Attend an African American church for gospel roots of the blues (Memphis, TN)
