We have space available on an exciting journey hosted by our Minnesota-Twin Cities club. If you've ever wanted to explore the best of Minnesota - from vibrant city parks to the Mississippi River - his is your chance!
Guests will be hosted in the homes of local Friendship Force members, enjoying the warmth of true hospitality while discovering everything the Twin Cities has to offer.
Trip Dates: August 24–29, 2026(with optional extension through August 30)
Itinerary Highlights:
Monday, Aug. 24 – Guests arrive and settle in with host families
Tuesday, Aug. 25 – Welcome Potluck Picnic; explore Minneapolis landmarks including Loring Park, Lake Harriet Rose Garden, the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, St. Anthony Falls, the Stone Arch Bridge, and the Guthrie Theater; free outdoor evening concert
Wednesday, Aug. 26 – St. Paul day! Guided Minnesota State Capitol tour (group reservation confirmed), lunch on University Avenue's famous ethnic restaurant row, Cathedral of Saint Paul tour, and a Mississippi River boat cruise
Thursday, Aug. 27 – Free day with hosts; the Minnesota State Fair opens today — a classic Twin Cities experience!
Friday, Aug. 28 – Additional tours and activities (Arboretum and more TBD); Farewell Dinner at Westwood Nature Center in St. Louis Park
Saturday, Aug. 29 – Guests depart for home (optional extra night for a Twins game, Guthrie Theater tour, or live music at Lake Harriet)
