Join us for this exciting opportunity of taking Spanish classes and making friends in Antigua, Guatemala. We have put together an dynamic itinerary that includes instruction time, seeing the sights, and time to be immersed in the language by participating in service projects with the local people throughout the week. In the evenings you'll also have time to explore the amazing café scenarios of this amazing city.
The highlights will include:
Spanish instruction from 9 - 12
a city tour of Antigua
work with an afterschool program
an excursion to Lake Atitlan and then to the marketplace of Chichicastenango.
visit a hospital for malnourished children and distribute water filters there
visit the archeological zone of Iximche, a Pre-Coumbian Mesoamericn archaeological site.
visit the active volcano Pacaya
practice your Spanish in a vegetable distribution
